Britain arrests 10 in anti-terror raids

London: British anti-terrorist police on Saturday arrested 10 people in raids across England, London police said.
The men were arrested "on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism," the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
Police searched three properties in Derby and Wolverhampton, and in Croydon, south of London, in an operation connected to an ongoing investigation into international terror activities.
Police said the arrests were not related to the July bombings in London.
Authorities were continuing to search the properties and officers were questioning the men, the statement said.
