2nd open letter to U.N. Human Rights committee for investigation of Illegal arrests

The chief U.N. investigation committee forIran

We, under signed, several Iranian human rights groups, residence out of Iran, condemning the unethical execution of Mr. Sasan Al Kanan in Sannadaj city, Kurdestean, (accused of hosting two members of an outlaw organization, Komele) and arrest of Mr. Mohsen Sazgara on Feb 19, 03 (He is at hunger strike to object his illegal arrest) and transferring some conscious prisoners such as Mr. Ali Afshari (according to his father statement) to some places to avoid their contacts with the investigation group. All these actions have occurred when you are in Iran. We do expect you clearly ask the judicial authorities to answer such violation of human rights immediately.

The ignorance of Islamic republic regime in the period of times you and your committee are in Iran to Investigate proves that if they had accepted the committee, it is because the government has been under so much pressure from other countries such as E.U. to improve human rights conditions in Iran. Committing the violations shows the regime is not going to change their systematic human rights violations.

Your silence regarding the abuses will give green light to the regime to execute more prisoners (consciousness and regular) and continuation of human right abuses.
